Assurance ManagerAon is in the business of better decisionsAt Aon, we shape decisions for the better to protect and enrich the lives of people around the world.As an organisation, we are united through trust as one inclusive, diverse team, and we are passionate about helping our colleagues and clients succeed.Aon's purpose is founded on an unwavering dedication to our clients, colleagues, and communities.Delivering on this purpose in New Zealand means investing in a future built on industry-leading capability and operational integrity and expanding our team of talented professionals.This is a 12-month Fixed Term opportunity that can be based at any of Aon's Corporate Office locations within New Zealand.How this opportunity is differentYou will have the chance to ensure that we have an effective 'first line of defence' risk audit and quality assurance framework across our operations.You'll be tasked with ensuring that this framework is meeting our Risk Management requirements and that are also aligned to Aon's broader Global and Regional Risk Management strategies.What the day will look likeCollaborate with our Legal and Compliance team in the development and management of our Risk Audit and Quality Assurance framework.Take the lead and ownership of any implementation or maintenance activities for the framework.Continually developing and implementing tools and ways of working that will enhance our Risk Audit outcomes.Manage our Quality Assurance programme and lead a small team of Business Quality Assurance AnalystsEnsuring that any identified areas of risk are addressed through an adequate remediation approach.Skills and experience that will lead to successLeadership experience in a similar role coming from within Financial Services or another similarly highly regulated environment.A sound understanding of regulatory requirements and business obligations within Financial Services.Demonstrated experience in leading and successfully embedding Risk Audit and Quality Assurance frameworks.A high degree of commercial competence and proficient business planning capabilities and the ability to be effective at both an operational and strategic level.Strong engagement and communication skills and being able to confidently embed key messaging across colleagues at varying levels.How we support our colleaguesWe encourage a diverse workforce.Plus, our agile, inclusive environment allows you to manage your wellbeing and work/life balance, ensuring you can be your best self at Aon.Furthermore, all colleagues enjoy two "Global Wellbeing Days" each year, encouraging you to take time to focus on yourself.We offer a variety of working style solutions, but we also recognise that flexibility goes beyond just the place of work... and we are all for it.We call this Smart Working!
