Shape the Future of AoG System Assurance Ready to drive meaningful change and leave a lasting impact? As an Assurance Consultant in the Digital Public Service Branch at the Department of Internal Affairs, you'll take the lead in analysing, reporting and guiding System Leads on risks and opportunities across the digital investment landscape. About the Role Reporting to the Practice Lead, you'll play a key role in shifting from project-based assurance to system-level assurance. This role involves collaborating across diverse stakeholders—within DIA and the wider public sector—to deliver data-driven insights and implement practical, forward-thinking solutions.
Key responsibilities include: Transitioning to system-level assurance, using data from multiple agencies to identify risks and opportunities.Developing and analysing assurance indicators to guide decision-making.Leading change management efforts, creating and embedding new processes to support system-wide improvements.Building strong, productive relationships and influencing stakeholders to drive digital capability uplift.As part of a small, agile team, you'll act as a change agent, providing advice, tools, and resources to support agencies in aligning with the Strategy for a Digital Public Service.
