Associate Psychologist

Jaime's interest and passion for working with children and adolescents with special needs began after an internship in a multidisciplinary therapy centre. After obtaining her Bachelor's in Psychology (first class honours) in 2018, Jaime pursued further studies in Educational Psychology and graduated with a Master of Educational Psychology (Distinction) at Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. Jaime has worked with numerous children with autism and/or learning disabilities as well as underprivileged children in New Zealand and Singapore, including both preschoolers and primary school-aged children. She is certified as a Registered Behaviour Technician with the Autism Partnership Foundation. Her work has focused on early intervention, teaching children play and social skills, emotional regulation, along with foundational skills important for their holistic development. Jaime is familiar with behavioural management techniques and uses evidence-based methods to help children with special needs expand their abilities in reaching their potential in various domains. She also works closely with their parents to implement strategies at home. Jaime speaks both English and Malay.
