New opportunity within Sanctions Operations
Protecting our Customers and Community
As a member of Sanctions Operations, you will help protect ASB and its customers from the impact of Financial Crime. You will contribute in a meaningful way to the protection of Aotearoa New Zealand from financial crime risk by ensuring ASB Banks compliance with various sanctions and financial crime obligations.
This is an entry level role where you will be responsible for the initial triage of financial sanction related trigger events, such as customer and payment screening alerts and escalating these as required. You will be interacting with our valued customers and balancing exceptional customer service with the compliance obligations that the bank must adhere to.
This role is an excellent career opportunity to start making a real difference to the financial stability and protection of ASB's customers and New Zealand.
First and foremost, you are passionate about Sanctions and Financial Crime. You have a naturally inquisitive and investigative mind and great attention to detail. You thrive working in a fast-paced environment, feel comfortable questioning things which don't seem quite right, and are able to articulate risk as it relates to Sanctions and financial crime. You will be committed to delivering unbeatable customer outcomes, be able to build credibility with your team, and be pro-active and confident in your ability to manage your day.
This is a full-time position working 40 hours a week; however, we welcome applicants who are returning to the workforce or wanting to explore shared work options.
