Mo te turanga - About the role As an Associate Director in ANZ's Corporate business, you'll be responsible for managing the end-to-end transaction processes (primarily focused on credit analysis & structuring) for new and existing clients, as well as the review and monitoring of a portfolio of Corporate clients. You'll play a critical role in ensuring processes and compliance activities are well managed, and be a key driver of appropriate operational risk, compliance risk, conduct risk and reputational risk behaviours. Ka aha to ra e kite ai? - What will your day look like As a Research & Analysis Associate Director, you will: Work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to support the origination of new business opportunities and drive customer satisfaction and outcomes. Lead the end-to-end credit process for new and existing customers and provide key support including counterparty credit analysis, financial forecasts and industry analysis delivering exceptional customer insights. Build and maintain strong, collaborative working relationships with key internal service partners, including Senior Relationship Managers, Credit Risk, Markets, Trade Finance and Transaction Banking. Deliver ongoing customer portfolio management to ensure that Corporate are well managed from a financial and operational risk perspective. Ensure that our processes, procedures, and reporting meet key performance targets and deliver on the goals of the New Zealand Corporate Relationships business. Ou Pukenga? - What will you bring? To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following: Minimum 5+ years banking experience, specifically in Credit and Relationship Banking environments. Superior credit analysis skills and transaction structuring experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Highly motivated, well organized, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities. Proficient at complex credit writing and analysis and an ability to take the lead in complex transactions, often working directly with senior stakeholders. Previous leadership and coaching experience would be highly beneficial. Highly motivated, self-directed team player. You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
