Associate Director

We currently have an Associate Directorship role available with a credible client.
The view is to transition this role into a Directorship role in a short term frame.
Associate Director ResponsibilitiesPreparation of valuation and cash flow forecast models for start-up companies, ensuring all budgets are met in a timely manner.Supporting accounting, taxation, and corporate secretarial services for businesses.Providing high-level strategic and business advice to Boards.Business development and growth of the database.Strong management skills and on-the-job training.Good understanding of practical advice around day-to-day operations of the firm.Working with owners and shareholders to identify and navigate options for exiting a business, such as succession planning.Being an active member in board meetings, understanding the overall structure of a business.Comfortable dealing with clients at all levels, with a constructive and strategic mindset to assist and improve clients' businesses.You5-7+ years of Public Practice experience.Sound knowledge of compliance and advisory.CA qualified; CPP is optional.Clear understanding of the English language and effective communication skills.Knowledge of XERO, MYOB, and most accounting software.Ability to manage and develop internal staff.Ability to network and socialize in professional settings.Keen to build on existing client relationships and establish new ones.Passionate about the CA industry and not seeking to transition to commercial roles.About Accounting PracticesAccounting Practices was established in 2005 and has become one of NZ's premier brokering and recruitment practices.
