The OpportunityThis is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong consultancy background, supporting clients with their financial and strategic goals, helping them to unlock growth and development opportunities for their organisations, seeing you as a trusted partner to owners.Whilst the business benefits for a core compliance base led by another manager, the core focus of this role will be to support clients with advisory and commercial services including management and cash-flow reporting, supporting due diligence projects and providing VCFO services as required, offering you excellent variety and exposure as you continue to grow your personal brand.The role would be well suited to someone career driven, who has long-term ambitions within the commercial advisory space, and wants to be part of a tight-knit business that is focused on supporting client success.The CompanyThis is an established and nimble commercial advisory business with a strong track record of providing clients with commercial, financial and strategic advice that support their growth aspirations.The RoleWorking closely and collaboratively with the Directors, this role will be responsible for;Taking the lead on client engagements, ensuring that work is delivered in a technically sound and timely mannerSupporting clients with commercial and financial advice that best support their strategic goalsDelivery of a variety of accounting tasks including cash-flow forecasting, budgeting, analysis, due-diligence, management reporting and VCFO servicesSupporting the Directors in meeting with new clients and closing out warm opportunities to bring on new businessActively representing the business at industry and partner events, cultivating a good relationship with relevant parties within the legal and financial services sectorsYour ProfileCA qualified accountant with a strong background in both public practice and commercial organisations, ideally supporting clients with commercial and advisory servicesConfident and concise communicator who is able to build relationships with clients across multiple engagementsTechnically strong in performing duties including management reporting, cash-flow forecasting & budgeting type activitiesStrong work ethic with the ability to manage and meet multiple deadlinesHold full, unrestricted working rights for New Zealand
