We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated registered nurse to join our team as an Associate Charge Nurse.
Dunstan Hospital is a rural trust hospital based in Clyde, Central Otago.
Our ward comprises 24 beds, including a 3 bed High Dependency Unit.
We provide a wide range of healthcare services for a large geographical area, two and half hours from our base hospital in Dunedin.
We provide acute medical care, trauma/emergency medical care (no walk in ED), rehabilitation, and palliative care throughout the age spectrum.
The Associate Charge Nurse provides clinical leadership of the nursing team and manages the day-to-day functioning of the ward to deliver patient-centred care.
You will work closely with our friendly medical team and all members of the wider multidisciplinary team.
This role is a 0.7FTE (56 hours/fortnight) position that has a fixed roster across morning and afternoon shifts, including weekends.
