Assistant Restaurant Manager

Rosewood Kauri Cliffs Lodge is located in Matauri Bay, in the North Island of New Zealand. What you will do We have two full-time Assistant Restaurant Manager positions available. Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager you will have a proactive presence with our guests and Food & Beverage team; ensuring that all restaurant services are seamlessly delivered. You will be responsible for the training of our Food & Beverage team to meet our world-class fine dining standards. This role will also be responsible for driving our wine programme, which includes overseeing beverage ordering and inventories, maintaining relationships with wineries and distributors across New Zealand and delivering a knowledgeable wine experience for our guests. You will work in close coordination with senior chefs around daily menus and develop appropriate wine pairing. This is a key position and the successful candidate will need to have strong focus on excellence, plenty of enthusiasm and a flexible approach. The right applicant must be self motivated, a team player and able to work well in a high pressure environment.
