We are looking for someone who can assist the Project Executive to:
Coordinate work amongst project team including third party and consulting engineers, architects, planners, quantity surveyors and other subcontractors.Control resource consenting processes, and Building Consent application process by attending meetings with council on a regular basis.Procure construction contract tenders and award contracts.Contract & invoice administration, process contractor pay applications, evaluate and process variations, analyze and maintain tracking sheets and records.Due diligence assessments – evaluation of property conditions, estimate repair and construction costs, mark-up site plans with work locations, creation of DD reports, assessment of landscape and drainage conditions, taking and publishing photos of work examples and written summaries.Communicate and interact with organizational stakeholders (shareholders, investors, accounting staff, legal advisors etc).Solve key issues on past projects raised by Body Corporate by working with independent experts, legal advisors, contractor and architect implicated.Your characteristics:
Self-starter and good communicator.Meticulous and able to meet deadlines.Excellent in co-ordination and a team player, but can also work independently.Have the drive to climb a steep learning curve and continuous learning both on and off the job.Good understanding of contracts.You have:
A Master / Bachelor degree with major in Property Development, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Valuation, Surveying or equivalent.Valuation skills are a plus.Internships or up to 3 years professional experience.Excellent knowledge in Microsoft Word, MS Project, Excel and Powerpoint to carry out reporting duties.Ability to drive.Apply now:
