About you We are looking for a "hands on" hospo superstar from a restaurant or event background who has proven experience in delivering exceptional customer experiences and wants a new challenge!
Extensive Front Of House experience with a passion for delivering first class service and a warm welcome to guests. Minimum of 3 years hospo experience with a passion for quality food and beverage.Leads by example with a positive and approachable manner and strong interpersonal skills Highly customer service orientated with excellent communication skills. Work well under pressure with well developed organizational and time management skillsAbility to multi task and switch between tasks and responibilities from day to day. If you enjoy variety, this is the job for you!About the Role The Assistant Manager will support the Venue Manager is delivering all operations relating to dining experiences, events and accommodation. This role offers a diverse range of responsibilities but it's basically all about people and making sure they have an incredible experience at our venue!
The successful applicant will be accountable for :
Delivering dining experiences, functions and events to an exceptional standardDelivering a memorable experience to our overnight guests by maintaining housekeeping standards and offering first class service at all timesLeading, motivating and engaging employees to continuously deliver the best possible service to our guestsEnsuring our brand values are always promoted and maintainedContinually seeking to improve our processes and proceduresYou will be mostly working on the floor, leading a small team in delivering all our food and beverage operations. Duties include food and beverage service to a very high standard, managing functions, menu development ( drinks specials), managing bookings, ordering and inventory and training new staff.
On the accommodation side of things, housekeeping duties, reception and "checking in" guests will also be part of your weekly roster.

Salary is based on 30-35 hour week but please note this is a seasonal business with Winter being quieter so hours will fluctuate dependant on business needs. Applicant should have flexibility and be available to work hard;)
This may also suit a couple as we are also looking for kitchen staff for Summer and we may also be able to assist with providing accommodation.
