Assistant Manager

Job Description We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our farm.
We currently are calving down 680 cows in Reporoa.
We are on an easy farm with one race and a 50 aside herringbone cow shed with cup removers.
We have collars for mating, and most things are made simple.
We require someone with knowledge, reliability, and a desire to progress in the farming industry.

We need someone who can get along with others, wants to work, and has a passion for the dairy industry.
Ideally, a minimum of 5 years of experience with good references is required.
Need to speak English fluently and be able to work in New Zealand.
We currently have a great team environment and want someone who wants to fit in.
The most important character for us is common sense and a willingness to work.
We would have relief milking and potentially some calf rearing for a partner if wanted.
During calving, we have a 12 and 2 roster as our current workers want weekends off.
It will go to three days off post-calving.
Accommodation Small 3 bedroom Lockwood.
Beautiful outlook, would suit a smaller family, couple, or single person.
