New Zealand Farm Source Jobs – Tokoroa, North Island Salary: $72,000 a year Type: Full time, Permanent Posted: 10 days ago We are seeking a 2IC to join our team on a split calving farm with 700 cows (550 spring, 150 autumn) through a 60 bale rotary with ACR's. The farm is located 5 minutes from Tokoroa. The farm features an attractive flat/rolling contour, a centrally located cowshed, feed pad, and an auto drafting system. We are looking for a motivated, honest, and reliable person to join our team of 3 others. Key Responsibilities: Tractor work and machinery maintenance Some milkings Animal health and management Key Requirements: Punctuality, a good attitude, and a willingness to learn Ability to drive a tractor and be comfortable with tractor work Comfortable around stock and animal health management Good background in all management responsibilities on farm Ability to work well within a team and/or individually Must have a relevant work visa A tidy 3-bedroom house is available, with the main bedroom having an ensuite, garage, and deck.
