We have an opening for Assistant Management Accountant.
In this position, you will support the Finance Manager by carrying out Accounting Functions, Key Business Reconciliations, Business Analysis, Procurement & Purchasing, and Admin Support.
The role will require you to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of our procurement activities by researching, gathering and analysing procurement data from a variety of internal and external sources to identify trends, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats.
You will also support the procurement, delivery scheduling and cost analysis of our growing requirements.
Other responsibilities will include: Assisting in the preparation of Monthly Management Accounts ensuring all General Ledger reconciliations are completed Assisting with the preparation of Annual Accounts Production of weekly, monthly KPI reports Coordinating, compiling and reviewing monthly consumables and stock on hand stocktakes with all departments Co-ordinating purchasing and procurement activities to meet administrative and operational requirements Vendor and contract management Maintaining effective supplier relationships Analysing and identifying opportunities to increase efficiencies and make cost savings in ordering processes or with alternative suppliers for key areas of expenditure You'll need to bring the following: An accounting qualification or studying towards with relevant accounting experience Strong administrative skills, knowledgeable, with hands-on experience Proven analytical ability and effective interpretation to assist decision making Ability to follow current processes as well as implement new processes to streamline the purchasing function Strong sourcing and negotiation skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Strong attention to detail and process orientated The ability to get along with a wide range of people with a can do, proactive attitude The ability to work both autonomously and as an active team member Customer-focused with a friendly and helpful approach Solution oriented with the ability to problem solve The ability to prioritise and deliver on tight timeframes, with flexibility to meet competing priorities The ability to review, create and implement efficient and effective systems To register your interest, email your current CV and covering letter to .
