Secondary (Years 7–15) / wharekura, Certificated teacherTechnology2MMADue to the popularity and growth in our technology subjects, we are looking for a dynamic head of technology to join our team at Albany Senior High in 2025.This role is ideal for a motivated educator with experience in NCEA who has had previous leadership experience or is ready to step into departmental leadership and support the continued growth of technology.Key responsibilities:Assist the head of department in leading the technology faculty and driving high standards in teaching and learning.Support the development and implementation of innovative teaching practices within the department with a particular focus on literacy support.Contribute to the operational management of the department, including resource planning and moderation.Foster a positive, collaborative team culture that encourages student engagement and achievement.Teaching responsibilities would be in the food technology and/or hospitality classes, or a mix of technology subjects.
