Assistant Golf Course Manager

Australia's peak industry body for Sports Turf Management.
You will be working closely with both the Golf Course Manager and Foreman, helping in the planning of both short and long-term goals, overseeing the spraying programs, and preparing the daily work schedule. This is a hands-on working position that involves staff supervision, record keeping, and running the entire maintenance operation in the absence of the Golf Course Manager. You will be rostered to work every third weekend and required to work a minimum 43-hour week.
The successful candidate for this role will have: Formal turf qualifications relevant to this senior position.
A proven ability to help lead and motivate a large team.
Practical experience and operation of most turf-related plant and equipment.
Relevant experience and qualifications in chemical usage and application.
A strong understanding of modern Health and Safety requirements and reporting.
Sound verbal and written communication skills.
A good level of fitness and enjoyment of physical work.
Current Driver's Licence.
