As city centre specialists, their purpose is to enrich everyday lives through the environments they create.The opportunity – Assistant Funds ManagerReporting through to the Funds Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the management and performance of the company's investment funds. This role involves delivering insightful financial analysis and ensuring that all operational and financial obligations are met, ultimately helping the company to maintain strong relationships with its capital partners.Key responsibilities:Assist the Funds Manager with meeting the company's obligations under its investment management agreements including providing timely responses to investor queriesProvide analytical and administrative support to the Funds Manager, including the preparation and updating of fund models with accurate budgeting and forecastingContribute to the preparation of financial reports, such as annual budgets, quarterly board reports, and investment committee updatesPrepare materials for presentation to Boards and Investment CommitteesAssist in implementing the fund financial treasury management strategies, including compliance with borrowing obligations and monitoring of covenantsSupport the preparation of cash flow forecasts and long-term planning for fund investmentsCollaborate with the Funds Manager to ensure accuracy in fund valuation processesProvide analysis and support during due diligence processes for new investment opportunitiesProvide analytical support with respect to potential acquisitions, divestments, and development opportunitiesAssist in the preparation of material for new investment opportunities, ensuring clear and accurate presentation of potential investments to stakeholdersSupport the development and execution of strategic plans for third-party capital and new fundsBuild and maintain relationships with stakeholders including Investors, Valuers, and LendersSkillset and experience to be successful:A tertiary degree in property and/or commerce (e.g., Finance, Economics, Property, Valuations, Commerce/Business)3-5+ years of experience in property, banking/finance or a related sectorAn understanding of either the commercial property or financial markets, including investment drivers, funding structures, debt and equity financingHigh level of proficiency in ExcelStrong written and verbal communication skillsA proactive and solution-focused approach with a strong ability to work within teamsWe're targeting an exceptional individual with the intelligence and key attributes to be successful in a high-performance environment.
