About the RoleWant to expand on your facilities and/or property exposure? Great opportunity to work alongside and support a seasoned Facilities Manager within a large commercial centre with the purpose of providing exceptional operational delivery and customer service. This varied role will be a mixture of property maintenance, compliance, health & safety, and reporting. Every day something different and exciting! Just some of the things you will do are as follows:Provide support to the Facilities Manager and wider Centre Management Team to enable maintenance related issues to be promptly resolved.Liaise with tenants in relation to tasks responding to tenant queries promptly.Assist Facilities Manager with monthly reporting.Liaise with suppliers to assist in obtaining quotes for maintenance.Provide administrative support to ensure quarterly reports are accurate and completed.Ongoing monitoring of all work orders to ensure quick resolution.Support for tenant fit-out and de-fit requirements.Liaison with soft services (cleaning, security, parking management) at the Centre, completing audits and providing reports to 3rd party providers.Support the team by maintaining Health and Safety documentation relating to inductions, PPE/equipment registers, policies and procedures, including emergency procedures.Support the Facilities Manager to report all accidents, illnesses, injuries, near misses, and hazards and to ensure reporting is carried out through the proper process.To be successful in the role you will bring the following:Ideally, you will have 1 or 2 years of experience in a facilities and/or property related role, involving facilities support/administration.A keen interest in progressing and developing your career within this area.Strong customer service ethic and enjoy being in a customer-centric role, liaising at all levels.Excellent communication, both written and verbal, is critical.Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.Process-oriented and follows processes through to completion.Highly organised with the ability to multitask and prioritise to meet important deadlines.Ability to learn quickly and displays a high level of knowledge retention.Demonstrates ability to take ownership of work with a strong work ethic to deliver results.Proactive and uses initiative to seek relevant and appropriate solutions.Flexible approach to work to meet the needs of the business.Must be computer literate and technology savvy (use of industry related apps in this role is high).Essential: Applicants need to have a right to work in New Zealand with a valid visa and be currently present in the Country.Apply now or get in touch with: Verity Bliss 021 196 4296 or email: ****** Ref: 128768Apply online for this role or contact Verity Bliss for more information.
