We look after and operate the Three Waters Infrastructure so that our communities have a thriving, liveable and prosperous city.About the role | Ko te mahi neiWe have two newly created roles based in different locations, with one in Christchurch City and the second in Banks Peninsula. Both roles are supporting the respective Water & Wastewater Treatment Plants. The key responsibilities of this role include:To assist and provide engineering support to the operational water or wastewater treatment teams.To provide specialist process knowledge, performance reporting and project management support to the internal & external teams operating the Council's Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants.To participate on a standby roster as required, and be able to assist the operational teams with day to day hands-on operational support.About you | Ko Koe TeneiThe preferred candidates would ideally be a tertiary qualified degree level graduate engineer with two or more years industry experience and is actively seeking experience in an operational environment. For the perfect candidate, their qualification and desired experience would be in the water treatment or wastewater treatment industry.What's in it for you?
