Assistant Cook

Our client is seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Cook to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a kitchen environment and enjoys preparing delicious meals while working in a collaborative setting.Key Responsibilities:Sunday: Sole charge cooking during the day (7:00 am to 12:30 pm) and assisting with dinner service and clean-up in the evening (4:00 pm to 7:00 pm).Monday to Thursday: Support the duty cooks with food preparation, dinner service, and assisting with clean-up.On-call hours may be available, along with opportunities to assist the team with other functions.Hours of Work:Sunday: 7:00 am - 12:30 pm and 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm (split shift)Monday: 12:20 pm - 7:30 pmTuesday to Thursday: 3:00 pm - 7:30 pmTotal Hours per Fortnight: 58 hoursEssential Skills & Qualifications:Experience in a kitchen environment is preferred.Ability to work independently, especially on Sundays, when sole charge cooking is required.Ability to work efficiently with the team, assisting with food prep, service, and clean-up.Strong attention to detail and hygiene standards.Positive attitude and willingness to learn.If you are passionate about cooking and ready to take on a rewarding role, we encourage you to apply!To Apply: Please send your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your experience.We look forward to hearing from you!
