Assistant Accountant - Temp

Our client seeks an Assistant Accountant for an on-going temporary assignment, stationed in East Tamaki. You'll enjoy the convenience of complimentary parking and collaborate closely with a supportive CFO.
Responsibilities: Bank reconciliationsAllocate customer payments and aid in debtors batchingPrepare daily cashflowsAdminister company payrollManage accounts receivable and credit controlOversee credit card administration and GL codingMaintain the Fixed Asset registerExecute month-end closure and Balance Sheet reconciliationsGenerate actual-to-budget variance reportsHandle GST, FBT, PAYE, and PAYG return filingAssist in preparing year-end financial statementsCompile the monthly Board PackAttend to general administration dutiesSupport with ad-hoc requests, special projects, and other duties as necessaryRequirements: Minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experienceBachelor's degree in Finance or AccountingProficiency in Microsoft Excel
