Position: Accountant and Auditor

Are you ready to be an integral part of a small, dedicated Finance team? Industrial Site Services Co Ltd is seeking an Assistant Accountant to work closely with our Finance Manager and colleagues to ensure the smooth running of our financial operations, directly contributing to the company's success.
What You'll Do:
Financial Reporting: Prepare Balance Sheet reconciliations and assist in the preparation month-end financials and ensure all financial reporting timelines are met.
Accounts Payable: Approve AP invoices, set up new suppliers, and act as a backup for the Accounts Payable function as required.
Accounts Receivable: Action credit checks for new customers, process customer receipts and follow up on overdue payments.
Payroll: Act as a backup for the Payroll function.
Systems Support: Assist with Greentree system queries, liaise with external support providers, and provide training to staff.
General Duties: Reconcile bank accounts daily, update cash flow forecasting, and carry out all justified work instructions from the manager.
Essential Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
Qualifications: 3+ years experience in a similar role and added points if you have a relevant tertiary qualification.
Skills: High level of computer literacy and data entry skills, pleasant manner, team player, high level of accuracy and organisational skills, good communicator, and strong accounting and maths skills.
Experience: General background in all areas of finance including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, GST, financial reporting, and office administration. Knowledge of accounting software, with a working knowledge of MYOB/Greentree software being desirable.
