Assistant Accountant

Our client is a top industry leader looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their vibrant finance team. This role is crucial in bridging finance with the wider business, ensuring a customer-centric approach.Key Responsibilities:Assist with month-end processes, including journal preparations, invoice generation, and GL reconciliation.Aid in the preparation of financial statements and maintain accurate financial records and documentation.Support budgeting and forecasting processes and contribute to process improvement initiatives.Accurately manage accounts payable and receivable processes.About You:Proficient in reconciliation and investigative techniques.Strong organisational and time-management skills.A relevant tertiary or industry qualification with practical accounting support experience is desirable.Hands-on, a team player, and eager to learn and grow in your accounting career.You'll join an established team and report to a supportive manager focused on your development and success.
