About the Role
Your primary role will be to maintain and manage the financial records of students and suppliers, ensuring data accuracy in the financial system and compliance with accounting regulations and policies. You will also perform various duties to support the Finance team to meet monthly/annual account deadlines.
Please note that this role is Auckland based, with an initial training period where you will be required in the office. Once settled in, the role will be fully WFH.
Key responsibilities include:
Manage accounts receivable (process invoices, payments, student refunds and debtor management).
Support accounts payable process.
Assist finance related enquiries.
Support monthly bank reconciliations and other financial duties to meet monthly/annual accounts deadline.
Support external audit queries.
Liaison with Public Trust, Flywire and Studylink for student payments.
Coordination with various divisions to ensure smooth operations.
About you
Degree holder preferably in Accounting or Finance.
Junior level experience - 1 to 2 years' experience in similar role.
Finance systems experience – Dynamics Finance 365 will be advantageous.
Proficiency in Excel and Word.
High level of attention to detail in administrative record-keeping and data entry.
Efficient time management and organisation skills.
Highly effective communication skills, with excellent written and spoken English.
Strong organisational and coordination skills.
An ability to work effectively autonomously and within a team environment.
