About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant or an Accounts Assistant who is looking to take their next step in their career! This role would suit someone who is hungry to learn and be mentored into the Assistant Accountant role and beyond. If you are part qualified or looking to start your CA, the company is an ATE and very keen to support you through. The role will be full time with some flexibility on start and finish times. They have beautiful offices located in the CBD very close to all public transport offerings. Duties: Support for all financial and management accounting Support for annual budgeting and regular monthly forecasting Review, control, support and training for payment systems Assist in the maintenance of accounting and finance systems including NAV, ASB FastNet and Visa IntelliLink Continued focus of identifying and implementing areas for improvement of exiting financial processes Provide support to staff on accounting systems as required Payments for Operations as required. Back up to Accounts Payable for other operations as required ADHOC financial reporting as required About You Ideally, you will have a tertiary degree in an accounting-related field. You will have at least 2 years of accounting experience and a sound knowledge of accounting principles, software, and Excel. Strong attention to detail and accuracy are essential, along with excellent time management. You will be a confident communicator and a team player who wants to learn and grow in your accounting career.
