Fun and Vibrant Environment.Great career enhancement!Permanent Full Time Position - 40 Hours per week About the Position and You: This role would suit someone who is hungry to learn and be mentored into the Assistant Accountant role and beyond.
If you are part qualified or looking to start your CA, our company is an ATE and very keen to support you through.
In this role you will provide quality financial and management accounting services to support the finance team, and working collaboratively across the business.
It includes processing and maintenance of accounting transactions, to enable accurate reporting of business performance.
Your duties: Expense allocationsBank reconciliationsMaintain general ledger and reconciliation of balance sheetManage journal entries, prepayments, fixed assets and monthly accruals Provide support to staff on accounting systems as requiredBack up to AP & AR for other operations as requiredSupport the company accountant with weekly cash flow reportingContinued focus of identifying and implementing areas for improvement of existing financial processesMaintain and grow relationships with key internal and external stakeholdersAd-hoc financial reporting as required This is a Permanent Full Time Position working 40 hours per week across Monday to Friday in our Takapuna based office.
Do you have what we are looking for?
Bachelor's degree in accountingTwo years of accounting experience in a similar role is desired but not essential.Finance systems experience Strong communication skills - both written and verbalAdvanced excel skillsDetail oriented - ability to complete tasks with high accuracy levelsHighly results-driven and performance orientatedDemonstrated ability to work to deadlines, and flex when these moveFlexibility and adaptability in order to work under pressure and meet short- and long-term deadlines.Only open to New Zealand residents or those holding a current New Zealand working Visa and currently residing in New Zealand.
