This role has arisen due to a maternity leave and will be for 14 months to ensure sufficient hand overs of knowledge on both ends of the contract.
The Role The role of the Assistant Accountant reports directly to the Finance Manager who is well tenured and has been with the business for a long period of time.
You will have plenty of support and knowledge around you.
Your duties will include: Daily and monthly banking reconciliations including foreign currency accountsIntercompany allocationsMonth-end journals, accruals and pre-paymentsAssisting with interim and YE AuditAnalysis reporting on stock to regional managementMonthly invoicing of sales and reconciliations for multiple branchesCashflow management and forecastingFixed Asset managementBalance Sheet reconciliationAssisting with monthly reportingAd hoc duties as requestedYour profile: Experience with a large ERP system is essential (SAP, D365, Netsuite, Oracle etc) and you will have Intermediate excel skills.
You will have excellent relationship building skills as you will be liaising with the stores, lots of initiative/problem solving ability and be able to multitask.
