What you'll do: As an Assistant Accountant, your primary role will be to support the Management Accountant and Financial Accountants in various tasks including month-end activities, planning, and variance analysis.
You will also play a crucial role in overseeing the end-to-end Accounts Payable process.
Your ability to analyse financial data, identify key trends, prepare financial reports, support forecasts/outlooks, compile budgets, complete reconciliations, answer audit queries, maintain ledgers/files, support capitalisation of WIP will be essential for success in this role.
Furthermore, your responsibilities will extend to setting up vendor Purchase Orders (PO), resolving queries promptly, creating weekly PO Reports to track orders' status.

Your educational background includes a degree preferably in Business or Finance.
Being part-qualified or aspiring to qualify as an accountant would be advantageous.
Your strong written and verbal communication skills coupled with proficiency in Excel enable you to create and maintain complex financial models.
Your meticulous attention to detail ensures full confidence in your outputs.
You thrive in high-pressured environments and are proactive, self-motivated with exceptional time management skills.
