About The Role
This role is critical to the operations of the finance team. You will contribute to the financial health of the organisation by maintaining accurate records and developing positive relationships with stakeholders.
*This is a 3-month contract position with the possibility to extend. You will be working 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
Key Responsibilities Bank and account reconciliationsDaily banking tasks and allocationsMonitor debtor and creditor ageing levelsAssist with year-end processing and auditGeneral ledger maintenancePrepare journalsSupport month-end and year-end close, reporting, and auditMaintain general ledgerAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysisHandle finance queries and liaise with internal teamsAny other adhoc tasks as required by your manager So Who Are You And What Is Your Profile? You hold a minimum of 2 years in an Assistant Accountant roleProficiency in Technology One and ExcelExperience with bank reconciliations and banking relationship managementYou have an eye for detail and the sense to question irregularitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesDetail-oriented with strong organisational skillsAbility to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficientlyA proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement
