About the Position and You: In this role, you will provide quality financial and management accounting services across our medical division. The key objectives are to provide professional, commercial, and financial services to the front-line operating businesses within the group whilst satisfying all regulatory and internal customer service needs. Your primary responsibilities include: Preparation of monthly management accounts along with variance analysis and commentary, balance sheet reconciliation, budgeting, and forecasting. Ensure all business compliance requirements are met - financial reporting / tax / other statutory requirements. Maintain the fixed asset register for medical businesses. Maintain and grow relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. This is a Permanent Full Time Position working 40 hours per week across Monday to Friday in our Ellerslie based office. Do you have what we are looking for? Tertiary qualified and studying towards a professional qualification. At least two years of accounting experience in a similar role. Finance systems experience - Xero will be advantageous. Strong communication skills - both written and verbal. Advanced excel skills. Detail-oriented - ability to complete tasks with high accuracy levels. Highly results-driven and performance-oriented. Demonstrated ability to work to deadlines, and flex when these move.
