About the role: As an Asset Investment Advisor, you will support the group in managing investment distribution processes and overseeing centralised operating expenditure funding pools.
You will collaborate with various business units including regional teams, to identify, prioritise, and recommend work for funding.
Additionally, you will monitor and report on the delivery of approved work. There is a small team of staff undertaking this role within the Unit, and while you will be given specific portfolios, there is an expectation that the roles will work collaboratively across the various investment portfolios should the need arise.

Excellent communication skills to deliver clear, effective technical outputs and provide high-quality professional advice. Proficient in collaborating with diverse stakeholders. Skilled in prioritising financial planning and managing budgets effectively. Knowledge in managing capital and operational budgets in the public sector. Familiar with asset management practices and systems. Experienced in using the Microsoft Office Suite. Current full New Zealand driver licence. Desired: Experience using a proprietary software application such as SAP. Knowledge of Biodiversity and/or Visitor and Historic Asset field operations. What's in it for you?
