In this role, you will support the Fixed Assets Team in delivering high-quality finance services. You will ensure the Fixed Assets and Leases transactions are supported and updated in a timely manner, to facilitate the processing of the fixed asset information requests to ensure consistent processing and promoting consistent best practice accounting application across the group.
This is a fixed-term role from November 2024 until July 2025 based in our Christchurch Office in Burnside.
In addition to the above you will:
Record and control financial activities related to fixed assets.Collect and compile all relevant documents required for asset setup.Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the information in JDE.Monitor and respond to internal queries and shared inbox accurately and in a timely manner.At Fulton Hogan, we genuinely care about the wellbeing of our people and giving them the tools and opportunities they need to succeed and grow with us.
We're looking for someone with:
Accounting knowledge gained through a formal qualification or experience.A minimum of 1 year's commercial experience.High level of accuracy and attention to detail.Strong organisation and time management skills.Developed communication and relationship management abilities.JD Edwards (or other large ERP) knowledge will be a bonus.Candidates must have legal rights to work in New Zealand. All successful candidates must undergo and pass a pre-employment medical and drug screen.
