Our Designers play the important part in designing and adding to the building of our private label and licensed range in a cohesive way – working from concept to artwork set up and all elements in between.This is a rewarding opportunity where your work will end up on our shelves in front of our customers, so a true customer mindset and ability to design fitting business and commercial needs is a must! Your wheelhouse of graphic, textile and product design skills and experience will help deliver exciting, must-have trend focused ranges!A snapshot of the role will see you:Trend forecasting key items, colours, fabrics, details and products for seasonal launches for the apparel categories including women and menswear.Apparel range and graphics design.Work collaboratively with buying and sourcing teams to curate and build cohesive ranges.Research and apply market & trend information through design analytics.QualificationsYou will be someone who enjoys a dynamic and varied role with a great eye, passion for trends and graphic design! More importantly, you'll have the ability to translate these ideas into products our customers will love! A passionate team player who showcases the curiosity and collaboration approach. We work in the dynamic, fast-paced retail environment with key deadlines and pathways; nimble to change with strong ability to adapt quickly to priorities and deliver to tight deadlines will be key!Proven intermediate to senior level designer experience including taking product from concept through execution and partnering with overseas manufacturers.Customer-centric approach with proven ability to research and apply market/trend knowledge.Demonstrated creative ability including graphics, textile design, visual merchandising.Commercial sense working within a retail environment.Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator & Photoshop.Experience working across women, mens, youth apparel ranges desirable!Bonus if you have knowledge in Browzwear, and Te Ao Maori and Te Reo Maori.Additional InformationCome work with us as we aim to "Help Kiwis live better everyday!".He aha te mea nui o te ao?
