Fixed term part time 0.7 FTE (56 hours per fortnight)We are urgently seeking a NZ Registered AT or RNAA to cover a 12-month leave, starting as soon as possible. Shifts are flexible - rostered and rotating Monday to Sunday, including evenings, weekends and on-call. As an AT or a RNAA, you will:
Assist anaesthetists during surgeries by preparing and handling anaesthetic equipment.Monitor patients' vital signs and ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.Maintain anaesthetic equipment and stock supplies.Collaborate closely with surgical teams to support seamless and efficient operating theatre operations.Comply with hospital policies and safety standards, maintaining a high standard of patient care.If you are a dedicated professional ready to step in immediately, we would love to hear from you.

Be a Registered AT or a RNAA, with a current APC issued by The Medical Sciences Council of New Zealand (MSCNZ) or be eligible for the same.Have relevant experience in an anaesthetic or perioperative setting is preferred.Have strong attention to detail, effective communication, and team collaboration skills.Be able to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the department and cope with a high and varied workload, including emergency situations.The successful candidate must be eligible to work in New Zealand or hold a valid NZ work visa at the time of applying.
