The Opportunity
We are currently seeking an Aviation Consultant to join our specialist team in Auckland. The position is for a qualified and enthusiastic candidate with an airport, business, analytics, engineering or architectural background to join our team in planning airport, airside and terminal infrastructure.
Essential Requirements
The ideal candidate:
Has relevant tertiary qualifications i.e. airport planning, engineering, business, accounting, mathematics, business analytics, architecture, or transport.
Has experience in aviation, airport planning, aviation business development, project management and/or leadership roles.
Is able to engage directly with clients and manage a range of projects.
Is self-motivated, requiring minimal supervision, accountable and willing to take on responsibilities within a team environment.
Can demonstrate commitment and ability to provide quality work and meet agreed deadlines.
Has excellent written and oral presentation skills.
Has exemplary time management, organizational skills to prioritize work and coordinate tight deadlines.
Has strong research skills and ability to collate and concisely communicate key findings in written reports, slide decks, and in-person meeting formats.
Has the ability to participate in and contribute to meetings to develop and implement successful project solutions.
Beneficial Requirements
Other beneficial attributes of the candidate could include:
Experience in terminal planning and/or design at airports.
Experience in airside planning or design at airports.
Experience preparing proposals for a range of airport related projects.
Experience working in a project-based environment with teams and/or stakeholders.
Experience in the transaction of airport sales.
Location & Compensation
This position is to be based in Auckland, New Zealand office. Periodic business travel will be required. We compensate competitively, commensurate with experience and qualifications and provide a benefits package, annual salary bonus, and flexible work arrangements.
