Airport Lounge Manager

Who Are We?Planebiz 2015 Ltd, a subsidiary of Menzies Aviation NZ, is a leading global provider of passenger, ramp, cargo handling, and airport lounge services.We are on the lookout for a driven and experienced Airport Lounge Manager to lead and enhance our lounge operations in Christchurch and Queenstown. As the Lounge Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring top-notch guest experiences, managing daily operations, and guiding a team of dedicated hospitality professionals. Additionally, you will be instrumental in the future expansion of our lounge services.Key Responsibilities:Operational Excellence: Oversee daily lounge operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and quality control.Guest Experience: Maintain high service standards to exceed guest expectations and ensure satisfaction.Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage lounge staff, creating a positive work environment and supporting professional development.Financial Management: Monitor and manage expenses and revenues, implement cost-control measures, and meet financial targets.Commercial Focus, Marketing, and Promotion: Develop and promote our lounges, and implement strategies to attract and retain guests.Compliance: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.Requirements:Proven experience as an Airline Lounge Manager or in a similar hospitality role.Demonstrated success in growing and enhancing a hospitality establishment.Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.Strong knowledge of hospitality procedures and best practices.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.Degree in Hospitality Management or a related field preferred.Certification in Food Handling and Alcohol Service strongly desired.Willingness to travel between Christchurch and Queenstown Airports.Benefits:Competitive salary based on experience.Free car parking.Opportunities for career growth within a dynamic and expanding company.Join us and channel your passion for hospitality into creating exceptional experiences for our guests.
