This is perfect for someone who can work in defined processes, is quality and safety oriented, pays close attention to detail, and is willing to learn. You will receive full training and comprehensive onboarding.Your RoleAfter your first induction training, you will go through comprehensive hands-on training in the Electrical Harness section; while working closely with your Lead Hand completing any needed inspection, repair, testing, troubleshooting, and overhaul of harness work.Using our computer system (SAP & Solumina) to document and record your work.Ensuring that your work meets all aviation regulations, standards, and complies with all relevant tech data.Ensuring that your work performed is in guidelines regarding health and safety requirements.This is a safety-sensitive role, and all candidates will go through a medical assessment (color blindness + grip test) and drug & alcohol testing.Your ProfileBe Trade Qualified – NZQA Level 4. Please provide a copy of your relevant qualifications, including NZQA equivalency for overseas qualifications.Be legally entitled to work in New Zealand.Have solid work experience in a similar environment, such as aviation, automotive, mechanical engineering, or related.Be experienced in working in processes and following instructions.Strong hand skills.Good computer literacy.Have a high level of attention to detail, accuracy, and good organizational skills.Be a confident, effective communicator and a strong team player.Be passionate about your work and always strive for the best and take pride in your work.Be able to comply with a strong safety and quality culture.Be flexible and adaptable.Able to work in physical tasks, such as but not limited to: Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, lifting, carrying, and twisting.HOURS OF WORKIn this full-time position, you will work in a fortnightly rotating shift pattern.
