The team at Flagstaff Recruitment Limited (NZ) are currently seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AMEs) to support our customers C-130 aircraft maintenance commitments in the following trades:Mechanical (Airframe/Engines)AvionicsStructuresContract work in Blenheim, New Zealand.The contracts would initially be for three months starting in November 2024 with a possible extension for another three to six months.Where required, accommodation and transport will be provided.For these contract AME positions, Flagstaff Recruitment are offering a competitive remuneration package / hourly rate.The RoleAs an AME, you will undertake aircraft scheduled maintenance and workshop tasks as required by our customer. A degree of flexibility will be necessary in your approach to the working day/week as you may be deployed to work in the different maintenance areas of our customer's facility.About YouYour previous heavy/scheduled maintenance experience with large, fixed wing turboprop aircraft including C-130 aircraft would be advantageous, but primarily your attitude and aptitude in the workplace will play a key part in being successful in your selection for these contract positions.To be considered for this role you must be able to fulfil the following requirements:Appropriate trade qualifications and experience (NZQA Level 4 or equivalent).Experience in heavy/scheduled maintenance of large, fixed wing turboprop aircraft.Be willing to participate in our customer's mandatory vetting process which includes, but is not limited to, police checks, security checks, medical assessment, and drug and alcohol testing.Proven ability to perform as part of a professional maintenance engineering team.Comply with Flagstaff Recruitment and our customer policies and procedures.This is a great opportunity to secure ongoing contract work in a beautiful part of New Zealand.
