Regional Electrician - Marlborough

Details of the offer

Founded in 2003, Indevin is New Zealand's leading producer of high-quality wine. Our grapes come from over 3,000 hectares of planted vineyards and blended in our wineries across three of the great New Zealand wine regions - Marlborough, Hawke's Bay, and Gisborne - giving us a scale and consistency of supply unmatched in New Zealand wine.
We're all about authenticity and transparency so rather than bombard you with corporate jargon – here's the real Indevin:
We're a good ol' Kiwi company who is proud to be a wine industry leader and we have years of hard work to thank for it.
Our business is proudly spearheaded by the Villa Maria Brand.
We take our work, but not ourselves, too seriously.
We work with people from all over the world because our diversity makes us stronger.
We're very passionate about what we do. We love wine, sharing our knowledge and making Indevin an inspiring place to work.
About the role
We're looking for a permanent Electrician to support our Marlborough Wineries Engineering team in all aspects of maintenance, project works, contractor management, compliance, H&S, reporting and planning.
You will be required to ensure scheduled works are carried out in a timely manner, while also maintaining our commitment to quality.
You will assist the Maintenance Manager to manage external supplier relationships and ensure optimal utilisation of plant and energy across the winery.
About you
To be successful in this role, you will be a trade qualified electrician with at least 5 years on-the-job experience. While winery experience in maintenance and process is preferred, it is not essential should you have relevant transferable experience in a similar industry.
You will need to have sound computer literacy, with the ability to utilize the CMMS, capturing work order data and metrics.
Our primary value "Safety by Choice, Not by Chance" will be the guiding light in this role, to ensure all electrical maintenance tasks are carried out safely and therefore the successful candidate will be well versed with health and safety in a manufacturing environment.
What we offer
We think our culture is pretty special. We have talented teams working in a variety of breath-taking locations. Our priority and investment in the wellbeing and diversity of our people is core to our purpose.
Other great benefits include:
Competitive payrates dependent on your skill level
1x You Day per annum - a day for you, to do what you choose
Wine allowance and staff discounts
Staff wellness allowance
Additional company paid parental leave
Southern Cross Health Insurance
Long service leave
A great opportunity to develop a career across any aspect of our company
