Full time15 days ago, from Institute of Data New ZealandSounds Aero Maintenance is a busy Part 145 aircraft maintenance company based at Omaka Airfield, Blenheim, New Zealand, and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Sounds Air Travel and Tourism Limited. We service Sounds Air's fleet of Cessna C208 Caravans and Pilatus PC12s, as well as approximately 50 private and commercial general aviation aircraft.We are looking for an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our growing team. This is a full-time permanent position based in Blenheim, Marlborough, New Zealand. NOTE: all applicants MUST be legally eligible to work in New Zealand.Key duties / responsibilities include:Routine / scheduled maintenance checks in line with manufacturers' specifications;Defect fault-finding and rectification with reference to the appropriate documentation;Compliance with Sounds Aero Maintenance's Part 145 exposition and all applicable NZ Civil Aviation Rules.Applicants must have diverse engineering skills and knowledge, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
