About the Role:
As the sole provider of air traffic control services in New Zealand (and its surrounding international airspace), Airways has an important role to ensure it provides safe, efficient, and undisrupted access to airspace for all those with a right and need to use it.
We are seeking a top-class Air Traffic Controller for a 9-month fixed-term position. This role offers an exciting opportunity to enhance your skills and capabilities while working within a dynamic and supportive team environment.
About You:
To successfully fulfil the requirements of this role you will possess the following qualifications and attributes:
Air Traffic Control Licence with an Aerodrome Control and Procedural Approach rating/validations
Proven track record of safe operational performance
Excellent work ethic and positive attitude towards the job, your team, and the organisation
Good interpersonal and team skills
Consistently demonstrate behaviours that reflect the Airways values.
Preference will be given to ATCOs holding a previous Nelson Tower Rating
