Agriculture Service Technician - WhangareiRoger Gill Agriculture - WhangareiListed 4 days agoJob TypeFull timeDurationPermanentDescriptionRoger Gill Agriculture is a family business that has been selling New and Used Agricultural Equipment including Tractors, Balers, Mowers, and other Farm Machinery to the Auckland & North Waikato region for a number of years.We are dealers for Cash IH, New Holland, Kuhn, and other brands and have branches in Pukekohe & Huntly, operating full parts and service facilities for all Makes & Brands of Agriculture Machinery.We have a new branch opening in Whangarei and are looking for an experienced Tractor & Agricultural Field Service Technician.Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Field Service Technician for Roger Gill Agriculture, you will work on a wide range of equipment from compact tractors to 300+ HP tractors, to Silage and Tillage equipment, both in our workshop and out in the field. You can expect to carry out a range of repairs, from scheduled servicing to covering electronic faults using the latest diagnostic technology to transmission and differential rebuilds.RequirementsThe successful candidate will possess the following attributes:Experienced in electronicsAbility to think outside the boxWork well as part of a teamWork productively and efficiently in the workshop and out in the fieldSelf-motivated with a willingness to learn & grow their knowledgeExcellent Customer Service skills with a positive attitude and outgoing personalityApplicants for this position will have:Your own comprehensive set of toolsNZ residencyA Forklift license and F endorsement - Class 2 and a Wheels endorsement would be beneficial, but not essentialWorking HoursThe position is a full-time permanent position working Monday to Friday 7:30am – 5:00pm (with an hour for lunch), plus on-call as rostered (with possible weekend work). You will work a minimum of 42.5 hours per week.CompensationDepending on your skills and experience, the hourly rate for the position ranges from $30 per hour to $42.50 per hour, equating to an annual wage range of between $66,300 to $93,925 (excluding any overtime hours).
