We work with Midlands Seed and other seed companies to reduce the risks associated with high-value crops through our expertise in machinery, crop management, and Canterbury's diverse growing conditions.This is a rare opportunity to join our team as an Agricultural Contracting Operator.In this role, you will be responsible for:Agricultural contracting work, including planting, inter-row spraying, and male removal in hybrid crops, along with other specialist tasks.Loading and transporting export shipping containers to and from port.Maintenance and servicing of contracting machinery.Ideal Candidate:Basic understanding of arable crop production and agricultural machinery.Previous experience in tractor and truck driving.A current Class 4 licence (Class 5 assistance can be provided).Physically fit, able to multi-task, and a team player.Local area knowledge is an advantage.What We Offer:Permanent, full-time position with extended work hours during seasonal peak periods.Highly competitive remuneration package.Company vehicle provided.Join a dedicated team in a role that seldom becomes available.To apply for this vacancy, you MUST be a New Zealand citizen, resident, or have already secured the right to work in New Zealand and therefore hold a valid visa.
