The purpose of the Agile Chapter Lead role is to ensure the consistent implementation and evolution of agile practices across the various squads and the wider digital team. The role will act as champion of agile methodologies, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration. By guiding and mentoring chapter members, they ensure that agile principles are effectively integrated into daily workflows, facilitating seamless cross-team communication and alignment.
The role is also a Senior Delivery Lead, leading their own squads and project deliverables, role modelling agile practice and leadership within their assigned project teams, ensuring effective, prudent delivery of assigned project work.
Experience/Technical/Professional QualificationsDeep understanding of agile methodologies, proficient in Scrum, Scaled Agile and Kanban with practical experience of implementing these methodologies across multiple teams.Either third level Scrum Master certification (PSM III) or SAFe scaled agile certification.Proven track record of driving digital delivery change, promoting agile adoption, and overcoming resistance to new processes and practices.3 years' experience leading multiple cross functional agile teams using scaled hybrid methodologies delivering digital projects via scaled agile.SPC (SAFe Programme Consultant) certification, CSM or Coaching certification or equivalent.Experience leading large, high profile projects with budgets > $3M.Knowledge, Skills and AttributesDemonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and coach individuals and teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.Experience working with cross-functional teams, facilitating effective communication and collaboration across different disciplines and departments.Experience of working in fast paced digital environments, delivering at pace.A demonstrable track record of enabling continuous improvement.Experience of multiple frameworks, including scaled agile, waterfall, scrum, kanban and hybrid approaches.Strong facilitation skills, presenting technical information to non-technical stakeholders.Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently; strong organization skills; ability to plan forward and manage deadlines.Strong attention to detail.Excellent commercial awareness with a good sense of value for money.This role is for internal applicants only; no external applicants will be considered at this stage.
