At Manatu Hauora Ministry of Health we are the kaitiaki of the health system, providing leadership and driving strategy and performance. We regulate the health sector and are the primary source of advice on health matters. The Regulation & Monitoring Directorate is responsible for leading the delivery of two of Manatu Hauora's primary roles - system monitoring and regulation.
Ko ake mahi - What you'll do
You will support the team in developing and implementing a new system-level monitoring framework, including gathering insights and providing strategic advice on system performance. You will work with senior colleagues to identify risks and opportunities, contribute to targeted projects, and report progress.
The role involves supporting the Ministry's System Monitoring Sub-Committee, preparing quarterly reports for the Minister of Health, and building positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
