Advisor Recruitment and Talent at Electoral Commission, WellingtonThis is a newly created role you will play a pivotal role in shaping the delivery of exceptional recruitment experiences at the Electoral Commission. You primary will support the end-to-end recruitment process—from sourcing candidates to onboarding successful hires.
Working closely with hiring managers to ensure recruitment practices align with best practices and organisational needs while enhancing the Commission's recruitment brand. Whether it is crafting compelling job adverts, conducting candidate assessments, or delivering training to hiring managers, you will contribute to fostering a positive and seamless experience for all stakeholders.
This is a Grade 15 role, with a salary band of $75,377 - $83,752.
Key responsibilities: End-to-end recruitment: Support hiring managers through all recruitment phases, from writing advertisements to candidate assessments and onboarding.Candidate experience: Ensure all candidates, successful or otherwise, have a positive and engaging recruitment journey.Training and support: Provide recruitment advice and training for hiring managers, helping them confidently deliver consistent and inclusive hiring practices.Process improvement: Gather feedback from candidates and new employees to continuously drive an inclusive and welcoming recruitment and onboarding processes.Collaboration: Work closely with the People and Culture team to align recruitment strategies with broader organisational goals.Mohou ake | About you
You are a recruitment professional with a passion for delivering exceptional candidate experiences and supporting managers to make great hiring decisions. You are an excellent communicator, proactive and able to identify areas for improvement and driving positive change.
To be successful in this role, you will need: Experience in end-to-end recruitment processes, ideally bulk recruitment.Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.Familiarity with recruitment systems (such as Snaphire) and the ability to train others.A commitment to delivering a positive candidate experience and enhancing organisational reputation.An understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and a commitment to incorporating its principles in your work.We are open to agency or internal recruiters.
