We value and care about enabling our people to work in a way that means they can work at their best.This team is responsible for the following:Policy work on hazardous substances and new organismsNegotiation and implementation of chemical and waste international agreementsContaminated land policyThe key purpose of this role is to support the development of analysis and advice on a range of hazardous substances, new organisms and contaminated land policy issues. You will be exposed to a wide range of policy issues through applying transferable, core skills.In addition, you will take responsibility for quality assurance of papers and policy advice, including Ministerials and OIA requests you produce or contribute to.Demonstrated experience managing the implementation of complex policy projects and programmes, managing risks and business analysis.An ability to set priorities and to achieve deadlines and project and programme outputs.Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal.Salary range for this role is $79,598 to $96,372 pa.
