Advisor, Legal Aid Providers Permanent Full Time Te Haeata / The Opportunity We are looking for an Advisor to join the Legal Aid Providers team at the Ministry of Justice National Office in Wellington.
The team is responsible for the quality assurance framework for lawyers delivering legal aid services across Aotearoa. The team leads the management and administration of provider approvals and contracts and is also responsible for monitoring and auditing the delivery of legal aid services.
Together with our colleagues across the wider Legal Aid Services business unit, we support people using or accessing the justice system.
You will be expected to contribute to the overall work programme and will be responsible for the approval of providers to deliver Legal Aid services, including providing the secretariat support for Selection Committee meetings and ensuring providers are supported through the application process.
You will also be expected to assist with the auditing and complaints workstreams by writing high-quality documents and leading smaller projects as required.
There will be development opportunities to continue to build your knowledge and experience.

Utu a-tau / Salary The appointing salary for this role will be between $72,634 and $100,846 based on skills and experience.
