Whether you are in Napier, Hastings, CHB, Wairoa, Wellington or beyond, our Advisers will meet where it's convenient for you.
We have an opening in our office based in Hastings for an Adviser Support team member working full time 30-40 hours per week, with flexible working hours over a Monday-Friday week.
This is a busy role, supporting a team of General insurance advisers to meet client needs.
Having experience in General Insurance is preferred however not a requirement.
The ideal candidate: Currently working in a support role in the industry looking to do their level 5 and become an adviser.
Studies will be paid for and you will have time to do the papers whilst at work.
Requirements: Juggle priorities and work to deadlines Perform well under pressure and thrive in a busy environment Enjoy following procedures and processes and seek improvements to these Excellent oral and written communication skills An ability to manage multiple stakeholders' needs Always have a high level of accuracy Enjoy dealing with clients via email and phone and be comfortable talking about sensitive and personal issues.
Be computer literate and a proven ability to learn systems.
Experience with CRM systems.
A willingness to be upskilled as well as a positive can-do attitude and plenty of initiative!
Your responsibilities will encompass: Have a solution focus when dealing with Advisers, Insurers, and clients in order to find the answers to resolve their queries Managing and updating client information in our CRM Generate renewal reports and prepare client files for review meetings Credit Control Processing of policies & endorsements Oversee Insurance claims from lodgement to completion.
Assist our Advisers to prepare new business reports, collation of information, forms etc.
Provide a high level of customer service to our clients Making appointments and follow up clients for information required to complete reviews / or new business application forms.
