Nga kawenga | About the role Our Organisational Resilience & Safety team are now recruiting for an Advisor Injury Management to support our Central Region teams. In conjunction with third party providers, you will enable early intervention in the rehabilitation of injuries, and ensure our employees are effectively supported in their return to work from injury. You will also play a proactive role in promoting and supporting your region's health initiatives aimed at reducing workplace injuries and time lost due to injuries. This is a true stakeholder advisory role working closely with and supporting our business for all matters regarding injury management and rehabilitation for our staff. In addition, you will provide timely advice, coaching, and guidance to all business units on the injury management process, engage in proactive injury prevention initiatives, and deliver training as required. Position is permanent full-time, Monday to Friday, working 40 hours a week. This position covers Waikato and Bay of Plenty. You can be based in any of these areas at either a Prison or Community Corrections site. He korero mou | About you We're looking for a self-motivated individual experienced in Third Party Administration/ACC Case Management, looking for something different, where they can put their excellent case management, communication and relationship building skills to use. Nga pukenga me nga wheako | Skills and experience Exceptional relationship management and communication skills is a must in this role, alongside other key skills and experience such as: * Experience of supporting and/or managing wellbeing, health and safety in a complex and high-risk safety sensitive environment * Experience in the development, preparation and monitoring of service delivery performance measures and reporting against these * Knowledge of injury management and the ACC Accredited Employer Partnership Programme, including the standards required for audit of the programme * Strong communication skills including proven effectiveness as an influencer and adviser * Confident and engaging presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to run workshops and/or seminars across a wide variety of health areas * Ability to handle sensitive information in strict confidence * Familiarity with the Treaty of Waitangi and its application to the work of government agencies This position requires a relevant tertiary qualification or relevant experience in injury management. As this is a regional role, you must be able to travel regularly within the Waikato/BOP and occasionally to around the motu when required. Utu a-tau | Salary The midpoint of the salary range is $96,007 and the full range (85%-120%) is $81,606 - $115,209. Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
